“May all beings be happy.” -S.N. Goenka
Vaughan is a dedicated student and teacher of yoga. Through his passion for yoga he aims to inspire and educate others to become the best version of themselves. Vaughan battled severe depression and substance abuse for nearly a decade, before taking his first yoga class at a treatment center. After his introduction to yoga, Vaughan sought out the therapeutic results he experienced to relieve stress, reduce cravings, and create stillness of the mind.
In 2014, Vaughan began practicing Bikram Yoga. After several years of consistent practice, he became interested in sharing the benefits of yoga with others. Vaughan studied Hatha Yoga with Helena Springer, Yin Yoga with Dennis and Kathy Lang, and completed Jared McCann’s 200 hour Vinyasa teacher training. He has also attended multiple Vipassana Meditation courses at The Dhamma Patapa Vipassana Meditation Center. By learning the practical application of ancient yogic wisdom, Vaughan hopes to be a guiding spirit for those suffering from depression, pain, stress, and addiction.
